WALKER, Robert
Seeking any information on Robert Walker who married Mary Germany in Pike Co., Ga. in Dec. 1827. He was on tax records as early as 1825. Robert and Mary were on the census record for 1830 and 1840 (I think, there were two Robert Walker's in Pike Co.) then disappeared. Their only known son, Henry Houston Walker, moved to Tallapoosa Co., Al. before 1860, returned to Meriwether Co. and married in 1861 then went back to Tallapoosa Co., Al. They stayed there until the death of his wife - then Henry brought the children back to Meriwether Co. where his wife's family lived. WHO WAS ROBERT WALKER??? WHERE AND WHEN WAS HE BORN?? WHO WERE HIS PARENTS?? Any help greatly appreciated.

WATTS and WILLIAMS
"FREE WILL" was said to be a full-blood Cherokee, once held as a slave and later released. He was born in Oconee Co., SC. One of his 4 children, Eliza or Polly, was born there about 1810, and may have been known as Polly Long. She married George Williams, born about 1805 in Oconee Co., SC. It is believed they moved to Rabun Go., GA before 1841 when their daughter, Dicy Caroline, was born. She and another daughter, Elizabeth, married into the Watts family of Rabun Co., GA. Some known descendants are from the families of Teems, Ramey, Callenback, Shirley and Tow.
In the Miller roll applications from the Williams and Watts families it says "Free Will" (always written with the quotation marks) was a member to the Treaties of 1835, possibly 1846, and was on the roll of 1851. He may have used an Indian name which is unknown to me.
Any help in identifying this elusive ancestor will be gratefully appreciated.

John R was in the Civil war Chinch's Calvery and was married to a Susan (no maiden name found) Adelaide Married W. F Bailey in Camden Co.
