VANCE, Warren
Warren Vance, born 1833 (based on later census) somewhere in Georgia. Was in Alabama by 1860, married to Sarah Ann Goff, living in Dale County, AL.
We believe he may have had a brother named Wayne who was single and living in Dale County AL in the 1860 census, with a Goff family. He died during the Civil War.
All later census, including Warren's children, say he was born in Georgia.
