RICHARDSON, Joe My husbands grandmother Marie Viola Douglas or Rightmier married a Joe
Richardson in Georgia between 1900 and 1903.It was possibly in Wayne County. They had a daughter Emma Marie born in 1904 in Ritch GA.(she was my husbands mother).
Joe was supposedly killed about the time Emma was born. Marie and her baby daughter later moved to South Florida along with her brother. We have not been able to find any information about Joe. Appreciate any help we can get.

RICHARDSON, John Looking for information on John Richardson who died in Marion Co. GA between 1830-50. John Richardson most likely came from SC since a lot of the early residents of Marion Co Ga were from there. He is listed as one of the 1st settlers in Marion Co.
John was married to Elizabeth Catherine b. c. 1785-91 SC. She died between 1880-90 in Marion Co. GA. I do not know Eliz. Catherine's surname but do know that her mother was Scots and her father German.
Children:
two children were listed in the household on the 1830 census. Three additional children were named on the 1850 census: Mary b. 1831, Mahala b. 1833, George b. c. 1836. Because of the age of the parents, there could be more than these five.
Mahala Richardson is my line. She married James Clark b. 1808 SC of Marion Co. GA as his second wife. They had three children: James who died at 21 of fever, Susan who married a Mr. Fincher of Doerun, GA, and Ely. Ely was the only child to have children.
Would like to know the date of birth and death of John Richardson, his parents names and the total list of children. Was Eliz Catherine his second wife? Where is he buried? What was Eliz. Catherine's surname? Exactly when was she born? Who were her parents? Any information or clues would be appreciated. Thanks.

RICHARDSON, Dr. Stephen L. I am looking for any info on Dr. Stephen L. Richardson, "prominent physician and surgeon", and his wife Susan Radford Richardson, of Twiggs County. There is a grave marker that belongs to one Amanda M. Beckom, "wife of S.L. Richardson". It predates his marriage to Susan A., so I assume this was his first wife. I think from some of William Benjamin Richardson's (SL & Susan's son) history that they died suddenly on or around 2 Dec 1881. If anyone has any information on any of these people could you please contact me. Deb Christ 2-10-2005

ROBERSHAW, William Wesley My G.Father William Wesley Robershaw, according to family info. was born abt
1878 in Marrieta, Ga. He had a bro. George, & sister Sara Alis. who also
used the name Robershaw, however their Mother Sara Rouse testified @ a civil
trial later in life that their Father's name was Mundy Robert Shaw or
something like that, and got tired of people kidding him abt. the name
Mundy! So he dropped Mundy and became Robert Shaw?According to the 1900 +
census, the children claim that their Father came from France! In the 1870
Census of Polk Co. Ga. there is a Mundy Robertson, from England, married to
Sara A. ?? I am looking for any info. to prove which name is correct etc.
Thanks

ROBERTS, Frances Clayton FRANCES CLAYTON is named in an 1896 publication in Limestone Co., Texas as the wife of William ROBERTS, mother of Charles Roberts born in Walker Co., Georgia.
Frances Clayton is believed to have been born ca 1790-1800, possibly in
GA or one of the Carolinas. She is believed to be enumerated on the 1830
Monroe Co., GA census in the household of William Roberts, with ten children. Their only son (1 of 10) known by this branch of the family, Charles Roberts, was born 1813 Walker Co. GA, migrated to Texas with his father's brother ca 1833, married Emily Stanley on Feb 4, 1842 in Washington Co. TX, and finally settled and died in Limestone Co., Texas.
Would truly love to find the family - parents/siblings - of FRANCES CLAYTON. She is believed to have married William ROBERTS possibly in Richmond Co., GA and perhaps lived for a time in Columbia Co. GA.

ROBERTSON, George A. was born around l8l5 in Georgia. He married ROANNA WILLINGHAM in Tuscaloosa, Ala. in l838. ROANNA WILLINGHAM'S parents and grandparents (JOHN WILLINGHAM AND WILLIAM WILLINGHAM) lived in RICHMOND CO. (COLUMBIA CO) GA. Can find nothing of GEORGE A. ROBERTSON'S family of origin. JOHN GRIFFIN on LITTLE RIVER has a son , TROY GRIFFIN, that married ROANNA'S aunt, MARTHA WILLINGHAM in l820.
This was also in Richmond Co. , Ga. I thought there might be a connection there since ROANNA'S father, JOHN WILLINGHAM , was buried on property belonging to
TROY GRIFFIN and MARTHA WILLINGHAM in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Children of GEORGE A. AND ROANNA ROBERTSON were: JOHN A. , HENRY H,.
FRANCES LAFAYETTE AND MARY ANN ROBERTSON. All three sons died in the civil war fighting in regements belonging to TEXAS. Mary Ann Robertson was only
surviver. WOULD HELP TO find George A. Robertson's family of origan. Might be somewhere in Richmond Co. or near LITTLE RIVER around 1815.
Thank you,
