Camp. W. A. My maternal grandfather was W.A. Camp
-- the name of his wife is unknown however we believe that there may have
been some Cherokee blood on this side of the family. W.A. Camp is believed
to have been born in GA. He and his wife had several children: my grandmother,
Mozelle Camp born on January 2, 1900 in Randolph County, Alabama; a sister
"Della" Camp and a brother whose name we do not know. Mozelle died on May
30, 1924 at the Piedmont Sanitorium in Atlanta and is buried in the Glenwood
Cemetery, Upson county. She was married to my grandfather James Robert Daniel
of LaGrange, Ga, Troup County. Any help would be so very greatly appreciated!
Thank you.
CANNADY
CANNADY (Various spellings), Daniel B. b. 1831
in Emanuel Co. Ga. Married Rebecca Durden. We believe his brothers were William.
E. Cannady b 1821 and James H. Cannady/Kennedy b. 1825. They each married
daughters of Henry Durden. Their are several older Cannady men in Emanuel
County in the early 1800's that could be his father; Edmund, Henry, *John,
Samuel, Solomon, Daniel, William Sr., and William Jr. The *John listed was
from S.C. Also, from the book "Revolutionary War Land Grants awarded by State
Governments" there was a John Kennedy, rank not given, that rec'd he rec'd
287 1/2 acres in Georgia on February 28, 1784. I have been advised this was
primarily Franklin and Washington County, Ga. I found a John Castleberry
with a land warrant dated May of 1784 in Washington Co., Ga. who rec'd the
same amount of acreage. We would appreciate any help and wish you good fortune
in knocking down your brick wall!

CARROLL
Carroll, Jesse Willingham. I am trying to locate the county in Georgia
where my gggrandparents, Jesse Willingham Carroll and Esther Vineyard (Hettie),
were married. The date is October 6, 1831 according to family bible. Three
counties show ties to my clan perhaps -- Carroll County in 1840, Walton and
Madison County at earlier date. I have tried the county clerk at Madison
County, various books and Ancestry.com. Do you have other suggestions? I
know that both were born in Georgia and migrated to Alabama by 1850 census.
They are in Carroll County in 1840 census. Thanks,
Carroll, Owen I'm looking for any information on Owen Carroll. He participated
in the 1827 Land Lottery (known as the "Fifth" Land Lottery). He drew land
in Lee County, land lot 126, District 13 and was granted this land on 11/5/1836.
Beside his name is RS which means he fought in the rev war in Georgia. After
1790 he apparently moved to Bladen County NC. Where My GGGGgrandfather was
born. Does anybody have this man and his wife Mary buried in their cemetery?
I'm looking for any information at all.

Carpenter, Joanna (Griffin) Born 1856 in AL according to Census &

Covinton Co. AL. & they divorced. Cary then married a Carter & had
several more children. Searching for any info on Joanna at all. Death Cert
