Gordon, Charles Axon/Axson
ONIE MURRAY was my great-grandfather. I am told that he and my great-grandmother, Ann Eliza Gordon never married. They had a son, my grandfather, Charles Axon or Axson Gordon. I am wondering if ONIE is a nickname. They were supposed to be from Liberty, Long, or maybe Ware County. Ann Eliza Gordon later married Thomas P. Gordon, but my grandfather, Charles Axon Gordon is not mentioned. Any info on this will be greatly appreciated.
